10 Things We Learned From Kevin Hart On Joe Rogan Experience

1. The Moment Everything Changed

Although Kevin Hart has been around since the early 2000s, it certainly feels like he's been famous for less. While everyone kind of knew who he was from film's like Soul Plane and TV shows like Undeclared, Hart wasn't really a household name.

However, it all changed for him with one specific moment as he explains on the podcast. After doing a fantastic job on Shaquille O'Neal's All-Star Comedy Jam in 2009, people really began to pay attention to the comedian and his work. Despite not really expecting anything to come from the performance, it ended up being the thing that catapulted him to stardom.

The show was played on TV continuously leading up to his comedy special, Seriously Funny, creating a want for his comedy. It's funny listening to Hart speak about it retrospect, as he still seems slightly shocked that despite performing in TV shows, comedy clubs and films for years this was his biggest break.
