10 Things We Learned From Kevin Hart On Joe Rogan Experience

Two of the comedy world's biggest starts combine for what turned out to be an incredible podcast.

Joe Rogan Kevin Hart
JRE

During the eleven years that the Joe Rogan Experience has been around, there have been guests from all walks of life on the show. However, there is a particular type of guest that gets him excited like no other and it's the type who're able to inspire or, in some cases, motivate him to do more than he's already doing or people who're able to achieve greatness.

From unbreakable endurance athletes like David Goggins to innovative minds such as Elon Musk, it's always interesting to see someone as successful as Rogan stare in awe at the person sitting across from him. However, in the pantheon of inspiring individuals to go on the show, most would never believe famous comedian and actor, Kevin Hart, would be near the top.

Sure he has enjoyed some hilarious comedy specials and funny roles on-screen, but we can understand how you'd doubt that the guy from Jumanji is going to make you want to do anything more than giggle. However, we'd be shocked if you felt the same way after listening to him on this episode of the JRE.

On the podcast to promote his new book, The Decision: Overcoming Today's BS for Tomorrow's Success, Hart dropped some gems that will definitely change your opinion on him, but might change your way of thinking in general. In the word's of the man himself, you gonna learn today!

Let's begin....

10. The Trouble With Social Media

When it comes to the world of social media, Kevin Hart has seen how it can alter a person's career for the best and the worst. During the early days of Twitter and before he was a global mega star, Hart used social media platforms, specifically Twitter, to put some spotlight onto his comedy.

However, as he became more famous, the idea of cancel culture became a thing, especially with comedians who made politically incorrect jokes in the past on social media platforms. It became a strange situation where the tweets that helped him become famous on the internet, were the same weapons utilised to try and destroy his career when he was picked to host the Oscars in 2017.

So when it comes to having a great perspective on the negative aspects of social media, he's one of the few people to suffer a major social media backlash and still remain in the spotlight. With his unique and interesting journey through the highs and lows that have come with this still extremely new way of communicating with people. it's interesting to listen to how he feels about it a few years on.
