9. She Had Her First On-Screen Appearance At Eight Years Old
Everyone's got to start somewhere, right? For Brie Larson, that meant performing in sketches on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno way back in 1998, when she was just eight years old. Her first sketch was a mock commercial called Mudslide Barbie, which involved pouring mud all over Barbie dolls and watching the heads pop off. From there, things only got more productive for Brie, who appeared in several episodes of the CBS series To Have & To Hold in the same year. After that, she was cast in the TV series Schimmel, but the show never aired due to its star Robert Schimmel being diagnosed with cancer shortly before the beginning of filming.
