Along with serving her requisite time in a British institution low budget genre fare made for children and remembered only by those watching it after school in the nineties Jones has also popped into another must-do for the aspiring English actor. Following appearances in forgotten Daniel Craig drama Flashbacks Of A Fool and Brideshead Revisted, she was in Doctor Who in 2008. Just for one episode, sure, but Carey Mulligan was in Blink and look where she is now! Admittedly, The Unicorn And The Wasp isn't quite as good an episode of Doctor Who as Blink, and Jones didn't totally lead the episode in the same way Mulligan did there. She did play a crucial role in the David Tennant episode, though, and it wound up being the most-viewed episode in this fourth series after The Fires Of Pompeii. Jones one of the suspects in an Agatha Christie-style murder mystery which actually included Agatha Christie. Also: giant GCI wasps.
