10 Things You Didn't Know About Fight Club

5. Cinema Marquees ("Seven Years In Tibet/The People Vs. Larry Flynt")

Fight Club is a movie absolutely jam-packed with things to spot if you've got the time to look for them - everything from there being a Starbucks Coffee cup in every scene, to those instances where random shots of disgusting things have been inserted into the movie for a single frame, there's arguably no other motion picture in cinematic history with as many easter eggs to find and discover than Fight Club. One little reference you might have missed, though? During one scene in the flick, Ed Norton can be seen standing in front of a movie theatre: the marquee displays the words "Seven Years In Tibet," which, of course, starred Brad Pitt. In a similar scene, later in the movie, Edward Norton can be seen standing in front of a movie theatre and this time the marquee displays the words "The People Vs. Larry Flynt," which - you guessed it - is a movie starring Norton. In fact, The People Vs. Larry Flynt was the movie that inspired the studio to cast him in the first place.
