7. He Has A Soft Spot For Movies Featuring Robberies
A lot of the time huge A-list stars often find themselves getting trapped in an all too familiar role - think of Tom Cruise, who even though he still impresses with his physical dexterity and outrageous stunts, essentially plays the same flawless action hero from one movie to the next. While Clooney does have a tendency to veer towards projects which hardly downplay his good looks (although there are exceptions), the running theme throughout many of his movies isn't the type of character he plays but rather the genre of movie he stars in. Clooney, it seems, has a bit of a soft spot for heist movies. In addition to the Ocean's trilogy, Clooney has appeared in Welcome To Collinwood, Out Of Sight and The Monuments Men, all of which feature this narrative device. Whether he'll pull of any more heists as he gets older remains to be seen.
