9. The Set For Kingston Falls Is The Same Set Used in Back To The Future
If youve ever been watching the original Gremlins and thought that the set looked familiar, thats probably because it is. The set used for Kingston Falls is the same set used in the Back to the Future films. Both films were shot on the backlot of Universal Studios. I like to imagine that due to this, the Gremlins and Back to the Future universes are one in the same. If anyone wants to write some terrible Back to the Future meets Gremlins fanfiction where Doc Brown has to go back in time and stop a Mogwai outbreak, I will totally read it. And I will not be ashamed.
