6. He Has Written A Song For All His Movie Roles
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sjbt8j1elA0 Keeping his love for music alive, in an appearance on Ellen, Foxx revealed that he writes an original song for every single movie role he does. In this case it was for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and for Django Unchained he wrote a song called Quentin Tarantino. These songs never actually get released for the public to hear, but it's just something that the actor loves to do. And in addition to that, Foxx says that these songs he writes become his mantra when filming the movie, and that he plays them in his head whenever he's on set. Aside from the ones that are just for him, he has also performed some songs for the soundtracks of some of his films. On Django Unchained he collaborated with Rick Ross for the song 100 Black Coffins, which plays during the intense shootout scene towards the end of the movie. He also performed songs for Any Given Sunday, Bait, Dreamgirls, Valentines Day, and most recently for Annie.
