1. He's Never Been In A Sequel To One Of His Own Movies

It's true that Leonardo DiCaprio's career started out when he appeared in a little known travesty going by the name of Critters 3 - but that movie, a sequel in a franchise that the man himself had never been involved with up to that point - marks his only appearance in a follow-up, spin-off, prequel or whatever.

And although (now that you think about it) it seems totally apparent that the actor has never been in a sequel, an off--the-cuff question of: "Has Leonardo DiCaprio ever been in a sequel?" would probably provoke responses of: "Uh, yeah" amongst most people.

In fact, he hasn't touched one since Critters 3, and it's a testament to both choices made and his insistence on seeking out new and interesting filmmaking experiences that cements him as a great.

The big question, of course: will he manage to go on forever without relenting to a follow-up? The outlook, going by what we've glimpsed so far, looks pretty good.
