6. Noomi Rapace's Performance Is Actually Pretty Terrible

Noomi Rapace is absolutely a good actress, but her performance in this film? Not so much, and it becomes incredibly, gratingly apparent on subsequent viewings.

What's most bizarre about her work here is that damn accent. It's established early on that she's supposed to be English, and yet Rapace's accent fleets between her native Swedish and a comically bungled attempt at English throughout, to the point of distraction during some scenes.

Rapace gives a compelling physical performance, but when it comes to basic line delivery, she was horribly off-note, and so it's probably for the best she's apparently got only a small supporting role in Alien: Covenant.
