10 Things You Learn Re-Watching Prometheus

5. Benedict Wong Is Totally Wasted

Boy, was Benedict Wong wasted in this movie or what? You'd be forgiven for forgetting that he even appeared in Prometheus, but indeed, he's in there as Ravel, one of the titular ship's pilots working under Captain Janek (Idris Elba).

Despite being a terrific actor and becoming a more famous face nowadays thanks to his memorable performance in last year's Doctor Strange, Wong was basically a token ethnic character in Prometheus, with his only scene of note being the climactic sacrifice he, Janek and fellow pilot Chance (Emun Elliot) make to stop the Engineer ship escaping.

Perhaps there's some deleted material which would've fleshed him out more, but in the final movie, he's pretty much a non-entity, which is a damn shame.
