This promo image from the Justice League set proves that Jason Momoa isn't just playing Aquaman, he's also playing an axe man. But what does Arthur Curry's love of the guitar mean for the Aquaman movie? Nobody outside of the Warner Bros loop knows at this stage. Maybe it's just a cool prop that Momoa picked up for a laugh. Or perhaps this version of Aquaman uses shredding riffs as part of his communications with sea creatures. That could make for some cool sequences.
Either way, this association between Aquaman and guitar music may lead to his movie having a rocking soundtrack, like the AC/DC-stuffed Iron Man films. That would help differentiate the movie from the scores that have come before in the DC Extended Universe, and give viewers something to bop along to during the action scenes. (And just like Awesome Mix Vol. 1 did for Guardians Of The Galaxy, it could provide another source of revenue for the movie and the studio.)
