Heres a juicy fact that isnt exactly commonly knowledge Kylo Ren wasnt always actually called Kylo Ren. While we dont know what he was called beforehand, we know he used to have a different name. He is a character who came to the name Kylo Ren when he joined a group called the Knights of Ren, J.J. Abrams told Entertainment Weekly back in August. Since then, hes stayed completely quiet about what that means. That hasnt stopped the speculation, though. Perhaps the Knights Of Ren are an evildoing collective that rose from the ashes of the Sith, after Darth Sidious and Darth Vader bit the bullet at the climax of Return Of The Jedi. Maybe Supreme Leader Snoke is a key member. One thing seems likely that the Knights Of Ren are probably the black-garb-clad group seen backing up Kylo in the trailers (see the image above). These guys dont look like Stormtroopers. In fact, they look more like fellow Darth Vader fanboys for Kylo to hang out with. Only time will tell exactly how the Knights Of Ren will factor into the film. They could be a part of The First Order, or a separate organisation that could act as wildcard of sorts. Well have to wait for the film to find out.
