4. The Incredible Investors
It turns out that Monty Python's Flying Circus had some rather massive fans, and they even became investors for the debut feature-length Python movie.
In an effort to raise the money for their intended £200,000 budget, the producers of the film asked a collection of wealthy names to invest £20,000 each. Out of the ten people who agreed to this, were three surprising rock bands, those being Genesis, Led Zepplin and Pink Floyd.
It turns out that the comedy group had fans in high places, as the Pink Floyd band would even reportedly pause recording sessions in order to watch Flying Circus.
Each investor made a great choice, as the film went on to be a big commercial success, and they got to see the Python crew move forward and make more films.
