What Is It?: The device famously designed to relieve stress, which in its complexity has in fact caused most of its players to become more stressed and likely lob the thing through a window.
And It's Weird Because...?: It doesn't even really qualify as a toy. It's like someone trying to adapt Nintendo's Brain Training into a movie, but with the Rubik's Cube being picked up by Creative Artists Agency, that's basically what's happened. Unsurprisingly, no details about how the project would unfold are available, but short of turning the object into some sort of a metaphor - or better yet, turning it into another Cube-type movie - this one's almost destined to be a dud. Fingers crossed that the ridiculousness proves too much, and nobody can "crack" the Rubik's Cube.
