Although Edgar Wright may have left Ant-Man before principal production began on the project, his fingerprints were left all over the finished movie, which felt like a very Wright-esque heist movie with super-hero elements.

Speaking of Wright-esque heist movies (albeit this time without super-hero elements), Baby Driver sounds like a continuation of the director’s work on Ant-Man, a comedic crime thriller about a getaway driver in love.

Ansel Elgort stars as the titular ‘Baby’, alongside a cast that includes Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Jon Hamm, Meryl Streep and Jamie Foxx. With such a star studded line-up, and as Wright’s first movie since The World’s End, expectations will be high going into Baby Driver, which hits theatres in August 2017.
