The Films: Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Children's Hour, Charade, and My Fair Lady

Audrey Hepburn was what many people consider an icon of both the fashion and film industries. She began her career in 1948 and starred in 27 films prior to her passing in 1993. The American Film Institute (AFI) ranked her as the third-greatest female screen legend to come out of the golden Age of Hollywood.

Her achievements were recognized across the board earning her the coveted "EGOT" status, which includes wins in all major performance awards: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar (Academy Award), and Tony Awards.

Throughout her career, she played some of the most notable women in film history including Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Princess Ann/Anya "Smitty" Smith in Roman Holiday, and what is probably her most famous role, Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's, which is the role that kicked off her longest streak of four films.

That performance was followed by roles in the hit films The Children's Hour, Charade, and My Fair Lady. The movie that ended her streak was Paris When It Sizzles, which is regarded as a fun and important movie, but not one that has achieved a high enough rating to continue her streak.
