10 Times Doctor Who Actors Took On Another Cult Franchise
7. David Tennant In Harry Potter
Leaving his mark on one cult franchise clearly wasn't enough for David Tennant, though in his defence this one was before (or around the same sort of time) he stepped aboard the TARDIS as the Tenth Doctor, so let's not question his motives. You'll have plenty of time to do that later on in this list, anyway. The Harry Potter film adaptations are acclaimed for featuring the crème de la crème of British acting talent so this is a gig that David should be particularly proud of. As you'll probably know (and if you don't, where have you been?!), he appeared in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as Bartemius Crouch Jr., a devilish Death Eater who got up to all kinds of mischief - and there wasn't a Marauder's Map in sight - when he escaped from Azkaban and infiltrated Hogwarts under the assumed guise of its Defence Against the Dark Arts Teacher, Mad Eye Moody. The clue was in the tongue. Speaking of David Tennant, this list ain't quite done with him yet...
