10 Times Doctor Who Actors Took On Another Cult Franchise

6. David Tennant In A.K.A. Jessica Jones

Yes, it's him again! David is about to take on another formidable franchise as he has just signed up to play Kilgrave in the new Netflix original series A.K.A. Jessica Jones. Not much else is known about his role at the moment but it€™s been revealed that he€™ll be a villain who has a previous connection with the series€™ hero, played by Krysten Ritter. His reappearance sends shockwaves through her life so it looks like it€™ll give David the chance to show off a different side to him that his fans have never seen before. He might even be purple, too. In the comics, €˜Kilgrave€™ is the alter-ego of supervillain the Purple Man but it hasn€™t been confirmed if there will be any connection. The series will be streamed exclusively on Netflix later this year.
