10 Times DVD Extras Lost Their Mind
1. Yoda Breakdances - Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith
A lot of DVD extras are elaborate, containing huge commentary sections with hours of content. While it's always great to get to see more about a film you loved, sometimes a shorter extra feature is better.
Take, for example, Yoda's extra breakdancing scene, nestled away in the extra features of the Revenge of the Sith DVD. It's a ludicrous idea. It's a silly idea. It might even arguably be a huge red flag that someone, somewhere on the development team was coming very close to a very big breakdown.
But it's a breakdown we can only be grateful for, as seeing the trickster Jedi master get loose and funky is so strange that it's legitimately absolutely hilarious.
It's not lazily animated, either, as every turn and crump is delicately rendered with what must have been painstaking effort. Add in the nice little detail of a collection of Stormtroopers jamming along in the background and you have one of the most unusually funny moments in the series' history.
This said, it's heartbreaking that the little green sage never got to bust a move in any of his fighting scenes. Really could have added something to the franchise.
