10 Times Pranks Between Movie Co-Stars Went Too Far

6. Michael Madsen Exposes Himself To Help Alec Baldwin Act Surprised

We all have tough days at work and for Hollywood's elite it's no different. Some days you just don't feel at your best and that's when you really need your colleagues to lend a hand (or in this case, a different appendage altogether) and step up to help you get through the day. It appears Michael Madsen is that kind of colleague and, thanks to his quick thinking, was able to help Alec Baldwin in a prickly situation.

Whilst filming the 1994 action thriller The Getaway, Alec Baldwin was having problems producing a genuinely surprised reaction to a particular scene. The scene in question, involved a mullet-wearing Michael Madsen bursting through the door and catching Baldwin off guard. After many takes, Madsen decided to take matters into his own hands and threw the door open with his lucky charms completely exposed (God, I hope he yelled ding-dong when he burst through the door).

Considering Madsen wasn't in frame for this shot, there were a number of ways he could have coaxed a surprise reaction from Baldwin, yet he decided to take it too far by not only expose himself to Baldwin but the poor cast and crew as well.
