When he's not taking comedy cameos as himself in TV shows and films, or appearing for tiny amounts of time in massive blockbusters, Matt Damon is appearing in massive 4-hour Cannes-applauded biopics.
In Che, a biopic of legendary revolutionary Che Guevara, Damon appears for a brief scene as Father Schwarz, a German priest. The fact he's in it for only one scene is even more fleeting when you remember the film is over four hours (it was split into two films afterwards - he's in the second one).
The director of Che was Steven Soderbergh, so this is yet another cameo Damon got from it. This is beginning to just become a list of Damon's cameos in his films...
Damon's been in an insane number of cameos, and he's already confirmed for another one in the upcoming Ocean's 8. But as one of the most likeable screen presences in modern cinema, no-one's complaining about the prevalence of the icon. Here's to a hundred more cameos!
