10 Tiny Star Trek Details You Might Have Missed The First Time

8. USS Archer - Star Trek: Nemesis

Star Trek Archer
CBS

Star Trek: Nemesis was the last film in the Berman-era of Star Trek to release while there was still a spin-off show airing. Star Trek: Enterprise was in production, so this film was the very first production to include it alongside examples from every other, at that point, incarnations of the franchise.

The USS Archer appears, named for the Captain of the NX-01, as part of the battle group sent to help the Enterprise-E. Admiral Janeway makes a cameo, Worf crosses over from Deep Space Nine, and Riker orders that maneuvre Kirk-Epilson be used.

If anything, the reference to Archer was the least noticeable of the lot, as the ship itself doesn't appear in the film due to budget constraints. That said, with a clear enough copy and a decent pause button, the inclusion of the USS Archer was a nice little nod to the youngest Trek show in production at that point.
