10 Totally Awful "Comedies" With One Hilarious Scene

7. "Get The Flock Outta Here!" - Porkys 2: The Next Day

Porkys 2 Bob Clark's Porkys is an outrageous and somewhat underrated teen sex comedy from the 1980s - think of it as a precursor to American Pie. Porkys 2: The Next Day, however, was pretty much a total waste of time, except for this brilliant scene, in which Reverend Bubba Flavel and Coach Baubricker read Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew in an attempt to demonstrate how sinful and utterly profane it is. The scene reaches its apex when Flavel asks Principal Carter, "What says you, Mr. Carter?". His response? To scream "Get the flock out of here!" and then express hilarious shock at his own conduct. This reflects a classic scene in the original movie, where again, Carter loses his composure against protocol and ends up laughing his ass off after hearing about a sexual assault at his school. In this scene, Flavel's voice when reading the text, and Carter's outrageous response are easily the high-points of the lowest of low-brow comedies.
