3. Do You Love Me - The Contours, Dirty Dancing
There are so many songs from this film that stand out in your memory and will forever be associated with the film, but the scene featuring Do You Love Me is a pivotal point in the movie as it is the first time Baby and us as an audience are introduced to what dirty dancing actually is. Of course this is also the scene with the famous "I carried a watermelon" line and when Baby meets Johnny for the first time, in my opinion this scene is when the movie really begins. We are introduced to the true sides of the characters to this music, they are able to be themselves and this is when Baby firsts discovers a whole new world and embarks on her journey from daddy's girl to Johnny Castle's dance partner and lover. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x43vK0k6A2I
