10 Trailers That Should Make You Nervous About 2017's Biggest Movies

"Action movie." That's essentially the vibe emanating from Blade Runner 2049's first full-length trailer. We've got explosions, gunfire, people being thrown through walls, and brief shots of several large set-pieces, one of which includes a whole lot of water. That's all probably a tiny bit concerning for those fans who loved the original's slow-paced noir vibe, which was intercut with moments of brutal violence.

But the most worrisome part of this trailer is that this sequel seems to be reprising the beats of the original film far too closely, with Ryan Gosling's cop character coming to terms with the fact that he might not be human (pause the trailer and it appears to be him smashing through that wall at one point).

That said, the presence of director Denis Villeneuve and cinematographer Roger Deakins is comforting, as is the involvement of Hampton Fincher, who penned the original flick. The movie does, at least, look like Blade Runner.

But can we talk about Harrison Ford's costume? What in Roy Batty's name is going on with that outfit choice, production designers? In the original we had Deckard running around L.A. in what is arguably the coolest outfit ever, and now he's dressed like an old man ready for bed? Who made this bizarre decision?
