10 Trailers That Were Way Better Than Their Films

6. Brave

Braver One of the passable films on the list, Pixar€™s Brave received the Oscar for best animated feature of 2012. While a hit with many viewers, the film was a let down for others who felt it didn€™t match up to the studio€™s other works like the Toy Story series. But then again it wouldn€™t have made this list if it didn€™t have a pretty damn good trailer to promote it. One aspect that stood out most from Brave were the exterior sceneries. The electric blue is a stark contrast to the murky skies and foreboding atmosphere of the forest. The trailer is beautiful, and sets the film up as something more serious than we had previously seen from Pixar. For some this was a missed opportunity, but the trailer will always be something to appreciate. http://youtu.be/tYg0VgPy6Uk

As a pretty nerdy guy, I've loved film and television since I was a wee lad. Growing up in Ireland, The Den was the show to watch with it playing Batman The Animated Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation and everything in between. I have an MA in Radio and Television Production and have written for various sites, hope you enjoy my articles/lists for What Culture!
