10 Trash Horror Movies With 1 Amazing Kill

2. Slumber Party Massacre III - Juliette

Jaws: The Revenge Banana Boat
New Concorde

Part of the wider Massacre franchise that loosely consists of three Slumber Party Massacre pictures (and a 2021 SPM redo), two Cheerleader Massacre offerings, Sorority House Massacre, and the bonkers Sharkansas Women's Prison Massacre, 1990's Slumber Party Massacre III isn't exactly a classic of the genre.

Much like its two predecessors, SPM III is, well, a bit naff. While the original Slumber Party movie was cheesy but mildly entertaining, and the second entry in the franchise was a batsh*t borderline musical, this threequel is as generic and as laboured a slasher as you'd expect for a feature that came out in '90.

Following the tried and tested franchise formula of a drill-wielding mystery killer, a slew of young adults wind up offed during a - you guessed it - slumber party. One victim not killed by a drill here, though, is Lulu Wilson's Juliette.

It would later be revealed that Juliette's boyfriend Ken is the deranged murderer of Slumber Party Massacre III, and Wilson's character herself found that out the hard way. Having had sex with her beau, Juliette decides to take a bath in her friend's house. After discovering a vibrator in the bathroom, our post-coital Ju takes a soak... only for the killer to throw the plugged-into-the-wall sex toy into the bath and fatally electrocute Juliette.

Death by dildo, indeed.
