10 Unaddressed Issues In Movies That We Still Want Answers To

9. Can Bruce Banner Control The Hulk? - The Avengers

Hulk This has emerged as something of a conflicted issue within the realms of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and although the answer is sort of in the movie somewhere, it's not really made clear enough - it's no wonder that people are confused by what's going on with the Hulk as a result. That's to say, at the end of The Incredible Hulk, we see that Bruce Banner looks to be capable of transforming in and out of the Hulk at will. That's the significance of the final shot. And yet, in The Avengers, he's still "set off" by Loki and ends up going totally crazy. Later on, during the Battle of New York, Bruce arrives and tells his friends: "I'm always angry," which implies that - yes - he can still become the Hulk at will. So what gives? He can be set off accidently and he can control the Hulk? Yep, apparently that's correct - he can transform via both inflicted anger and personal anger - although, given that we're supposed to work that out from one line, lots of fans have been left scratching their heads. And it does seem a tad too convenient, if you ask me. Still, we need some actual clarification as to what's going on here - as of now, it's annoyingly vague.
