10 Unaddressed Issues In Movies That We Still Want Answers To

8. Did Humanity Win Against The Undead? - World War Z

World-War-Z-2013-Movie-Poster All right, so if you've ever sat down and read Max Brooks' novel World War Z, you'll know that it's totally at odds with the subsequent movie adaptation, in the sense that the two are nothing alike. At all. The movie might as well have been called Brad Pitt: Zombie Killer, because it has more in common with that title than it does its source material. I'm ranting about this because Brooks' novel focuses on how humanity actually managed to overcome the zombie outbreak on a global scale. It explains, in great detail, how, exactly, we defeated them. Which was the point of the book, by the way. Presented as an "oral history," gathered from interviews with those who survived the outbreak, it chronicled the zombie apocalypse from inception to its end. The best bit of the book was in getting a glimpse into how the tables were ultimately turned against the undead. The Brad Pitt version just decides to end when things are getting interesting - when the real bulk of the novel begins, and the world starts to fight back. So why stop at the most intriguing moment, Brad Pitt movie? Tell us! What happened next? Did we overcome the horde? How? It's not enough to just say: "Oh, well, probably. I dunno. Maybe."
