10 Unanswered Questions From The Amazing Spider-Man Franchise

10. Is Norman Osborn Dead?

The Amazing Spider-Man laid the foundations to set Norman Osborn up as the big bad of this franchise, but his brief appearance in the sequel killed him off in all of two minutes. The green hue of his skin and that monstrous claw like hand teased some sort of transformation, as did a leaked set photo (the scene was obviously cut from the movie) which featured his decapitated head in a jar being watched over by The Gentleman. Did Sony decide somewhere along the line that they would instead focus on Harry as the Green Goblin or were there plans to bring back Norman as a fully transformed Goblin like in the Ultimate Comics? For that matter, what were he and his son dying from anyway, and had the elder Osborn already tried the same serum taken by Harry? There are a lot of Norman related questions left over, although given his death it appears as if he would have been wasted.
