8. What Happened To Dr. Ratha?

Dr. Ratha's originally planned fate was revealed in an alternate scene which saw him killed by The Lizard. It was far superior to what was in the movie itself (it's never quite clear what happened to the Oscorp boss after the incident on the bridge), and it was ultimately cut due to the fact that he strongly hinted that there was more to Peter's story than meets the eye, something the series was saving for later movies. This just goes to show that The Amazing Spider-Man franchise really was just making up "The Untold Story" as they went along. And, as the scene was never used, Ratha's fate remains unknown. It's not something which is likely to keep comic book fans up at night, but seeing as the character played such a pivotal role in searching for a cure for Norman Osborn's mysterious condition, his disappearance is somewhat strange.
