7. Why Did Oscorp Have All Those Devices?
Even though what the company actually does is ever really made clear, it makes at least some sense that Oscorp would have devices like Doctor Octopus' arms and Vulture's wings. However, why were these being stored in a basement by Norman Osborn? Did he intend to create a team of villains somehow? That would make men like Otto Octavius and Adrian Toomes hired guns then, as neither man must have created their respective weaponry. One featurette for The Amazing Spider-Man actually showed the Venom symbiote among them, but that was replaced by the Rhino's suit in the final movie. None of this really makes sense. Harry Osborn clearly intends to use this stuff to form the Sinister Six, yet thinks it's a good idea to hand over armour to a fool like Aleksei Sytsevich? Why Oscorp were developing these will never be revealed, but it's clear it was just a lazy way to skip six origin stories!
