1. Strange Days
What's great about Strange Days is that it really shouldn't be good at all. A science fiction film fueled by a cyber punk society, rock and roll, and addictions is nothing new. We've seen elements of it before and it always seems to suck, but somehow Strange Days serves as the exception. Directed by Kathryn Bigelow and scripted mainly by James Cameron this movie follows Ralph Fiennes as he peddles people's memories as first hand experiences. This lands him into serious trouble when he begins picking up the memories of a serial killer. Almost never talked about or hardly seen due to a very limited theatrical release that saw this film flop hard, Strange Days has to be one of most under-rated sci-fi films of all time.
