10 Underseen Vampire Movies To Fill The True Blood Hole In Your Life

4. Let The Right One In

Not exactly overshadowed by its American remake Let Me In (that film was inferior and had the lack of box office receipts to show it), this Swedish film based on the novel of the same name took a radically different approach to children in vampire stories than most had previously: namely, by putting them at the forefront. Let The Right One In focuses on a young boy, abused and neglected by his family, and his relationship with a young vampire girl whose 'protector' murders people so that she can feed. Once you get past the literal blood and guts of the story it's actually an incredibly sweet and moving coming of age tale made all the more tragic by the realisation that one of its characters could never actually come of age.
