10 Unintentionally Funny Moments From Batman V Superman

Imagine you're Chris Terrio. 

You have been asked to write the screenplay for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, one of the biggest films of all time. It's an incredible opportunity, but you're not very familiar with comic book history, so you start doing your research. You read every issue centered on these two heroes that you can get your hands on, combing through their dense history, trying to find some way to break the story. 

Then you find it. It's a bombshell! How has no one noticed this before?! You put it in the script. Snyder loves it! This is going to change the way people look at these two icons.

Cut to the premiere. You're there with your family and friends, maybe even your mother (your 'Martha' if you will). You're excited, although that piss-jar moment didn't seem to land well. But now the moment is here. Minds will be blown. Both their mothers are named Martha! The fighting can stop!

Everyone groans and laughs and shakes their heads. Where did you go so wrong?
