10 Unintentionally Funny Moments From Batman V Superman

Once Lex's plans (what were they again?) are foiled, he is quickly arrested and thrown in prison. There we see him get his trademark bald head. Could this be the first signs of a truly threatening Lex Luthor?

He sits in his jail cell until he gets a visit from Batman. After a few threats, the cape crusader leaves and Lex calls after him that a real threat will soon be coming. Lex is more intense than we've ever seen him. He screams like a madman after Batman. And he has a big glob of snot running down his lip.

So close.

It's really no one's fault for happening. Eisenberg was probably so into this intense moment that he didn't notice. But the smart thing to do would be to hand him a tissue and try another dryer take. Or maybe it was an intentional thing, showing us that Luthor is nothing more than a snot-nosed punk. That kind of subtlety rings true for Snyder.

Whatever the reason for the snot, it turns the last chance to make Luthor seem formidable into yet another opportunity to laugh at how wacky he is. And it's also not a good idea for one of the last images in your film make the viewer think. "Ew, is it going to run into his mouth?"
