10 Unintentionally Funny Moments In Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man Trilogy

Due to a great performance from Alfred Molina, Doctor Octopus is the best villain in the trilogy. However, this legendary antagonist suffered a severe lapse in concentration towards the end of Spider-Man 2.

Given he had no idea Peter was Spider-Man at the time, Doc Ock’s decision to throw a car at him makes no sense whatsoever. If it wasn’t for Peter’s spider-sense, both he and Mary Jane would have been killed or seriously injured.

Of course, the reason this moment made it into the movie is because it’s visually appealing, especially when Peter and Mary Jane are rotating towards the camera. Still, there’s no getting away from the fact Doc Ock’s decision to launch a car into a café is hilariously stupid.
