10 Unintentionally Hilarious Movies You Can't Help But Laugh At

1. Crossroads (2002)

crossroads In 2002 Britney Spears was the biggest popstar on the planet, so cobbling together a movie vehicle for her was an obvious choice. A no-brainer, some might succinctly put. Not so obvious a choice was the adult content of a vehicle for a star whose fans were mainly pre teens. In the far too grown up movie, there is a scene where it turns out that Britney's best friend's fiance got her other best friend pregnant by raping her and then while the girl flees the scene, she falls down the stairs and miscarries. Oops, I did it again, this is not. On the surface it looked like a little road movie with three girls who sing Sheryl Crow songs (the friends played by recent Uhura Zoe Saldana and 8mile's Taryn Manning,) but it's all a little too dark and serious. And if this lifetime TV wannabe wasn't melodramatic enough, it turns the man who is driving them to LA might be a killer. Hit me baby one more time! To their probably eternal shame, Justin Long, Dan Aykroyd and Kim Cattrall all make appearance in this mess. The boardroom who approved this must have been on the good stuff at the time: "Hey, let€™s give a girl who has never acted before a melodramatic and intense storyline and let's add in a smattering of murder, rape and unwanted pregnancy as well, while we're at it. The 12 year old audience will love that!" Did we miss any of your own favourite awful movies you can't help but laugh at? Share your own picks below.
