The Hunger Games potentially stands as the best and most accomplished Young Adult novel adaptation franchise of all-time, and going by the trailer for the upcoming third movie in the series, Mockingjay - Part 1, that's not something that's going to change. After having survived the perils of two Hunger Games tournaments, then, the next installment focuses in on Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and her part in the inevitable uprising. Unlike the first two chapters in The Hunger Games saga, Mockingjay opens up the span of the arena-based plots and plunges our heroine into her most frantic and terrifying scenario of all, as the poor folk from the districts attempt to reclaim their entitled land from the upper class. This is the first part of a book that has been split into two films, of course - and though there's usually little justification for doing so, in this case we're super psyched.
