9. What Was The Flash Talking About When He Travelled Back In Time?
One of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's most baffling, yet admittedly intriguing, scenes came when Bruce Wayne was confronted by a Flash who had seemingly travelled back in time to deliver a cryptic message which saw him talking about saving Lois Lane and arriving at this point too early.
It was all very weird, and seemed completely out of place in an otherwise relatively grounded movie. Time-travel is a complicated idea at the best of times, so throwing it into the mix here without ever referencing it again was a strange decision on Snyder's part, and not something we're likely to see resolved unless that ability of the Scarlet Speedster's is addressed in his planned solo outing.
Snyder has alluded to the Justice League sequel being set in a desolate future, and Cyborg and the Flash using the Cosmic Treadmill to send Barry Allen back in time to set things right, but that's about as specific as he's got, and it's not an overly satisfying resolution to one of this film's biggest mysteries.
