10 Unused DC Extended Universe Concepts Which Need To Be Used In Future Movies

8. A Fiery Final Battle - Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman is one of Warner Bros.' best DC Comics movies, but the CGI-heavy final battle often suffered from visual effects which weren't quite up to par. In the case of Ares, that was definitely an issue, but there were once even more ambitious plans for the villain.

The ancient Greek God being a being made entirely of fire makes for one hell of a visual, and could have led to an even better final battle in the 2017 release. Whether the studio's visual effects were capable of pulling something like this off in an effective manner is hard to say, but the final fight being a little less generic certainly wouldn't have been a bad thing.

As it stands, it was still pretty exciting, but this is just way better. The God of War being a fiery being feels appropriate, and it's hard not to wonder how Diana Prince might have ended up emerging victorious.

Chances are Ares won't be returning to the DC Extended Universe, but if the franchise continues exploring Diana Prince's ties to the Gods of Olympus, then she could quite easily come up against another foe with similarly fiery powers.
