10 Unused Superhero Movie Designs That Are Better Than What We Got

5. Ultron

The villainous robot Ultron was ultimately a bit of a disappointment during Avengers: Age Of Ultron. He made a few sarcastic comments, but failed to ever be a truly intimidating villain. There was never much of a sense of danger when any of the core Avengers were involved in the battle against him. Part of the problem with Ultron was his design, especially in his final form. The last version of Ultron was covered in unintimidating round edges, and lacked much in the way of evil physical features (except for his red eyes). There wasn€™t anything truly frightful about his appearance. Josh Nizzi€™s concept art is a lot scarier, with jagged corners adding threatening edges to his head, shoulders, elbows, feet and legs. There€™s also something of a black void where his mouth should be, which is a tad more menacing than the CGI slit mouth that the finished version had. This Ultron probably couldn€™t have fixed every problem with the film, but he€™d certainly make a big more of an impression.
