10 Unused Superhero Movie Designs That Are Better Than What We Got

3. Yellowjacket

In 2015€™s Ant-Man movie, Corey Stoll€™s Yellowjacket villain was one of the few weak links. He felt like yet another boring businessman baddie, and his costume design did little to add anything interesting to the mix. It had that honeycomb lattice to it, and a whole lot of yellow. It was quite bland, in all honesty. Concept artist Andy Park had come up with some better ideas during the design process. His vision of Jellowjacket was more robotic, pushing the idea that the villain had utilised other technologies in a bid to recreate Hank Pym€™s shrinking technology. It also throws in a few dashes of blue amongst the black and yellow, helping to broaden the palette of colours and make Yellowjacket a bit less boring. This design is much better than the one fans got to see in the finished film, but you can understand why Marvel veered away from the robotic direction; the film came out just a few months after Age Of Ultron, and Marvel wouldn€™t have wanted to repeat themselves so soon.
