7. Eclipso (Steve Buscemi)
Although he initially seemed like a generic villain in a silly outfit, Eclipsos backstory later revealed that he was actually a divine entity gone bad. Hes the physical manifestation of Gods wrath an evil angel cast out of the heavens with immortality, super strength and the power to possess people on his side. Also known as The Prince of Darkness, Eclipso has plagued the DC Comics universe since his introduction in 1963. In the current New 52 continuity, he was banished to the moon but found a way to possess the angrier people of Earth. He tried to amass power by taking over the nation of Parador one possession at a time. Later, he found a way to control Superman and threatened to turn him against his allies. Although all his schemes are usually stopped after a few issues in the comics, a movie that really dug into the idea of immortal evildoer who could possess anyone with a temper could be very interesting indeed. A great script would be needed, as would a multifaceted actor. Casting directors would surely aim to find an actor who could bring stellar creepiness to the table, with the added ability to appear unassuming when the narrative demands it. Eclipso is immortal, as well, so doesnt need to be played a big hulking bodybuilder. Steve Buscemi could surely manage this, and would probably be up for it too.
