10 Unused Villains For DC Movies (And Who Should Play Them)

8. Cheetah (Kaya Scodelario)

Gal Gadot€™s Wonder Woman will need some enemies to battle, too. And none would better fit the bill than her comic book archenemy Cheetah. Considered a classic adversary for Princess Diana of Themyscira, Cheetah first appeared in the comics way back in 1943. There have been several versions of Cheetah over the years (the original was Priscilla Rich €“ a Washington aristocrat with a split personality), but the current incarnation is the one that seems best suited to the modern movie treatment. The incumbent Cheetah of The New 52 is Barbara Minerva, a woman who was raised in a hunting-themed cult-like community called Amazonia (which was inspired by the Amazon culture that Wonder Woman heralds from). Later in life, Barbara is sent to retrieve an ancient relic called the God-Killer Knife. She meets Wonder Woman, who laughs at her beliefs. She vows revenge and tricks Wonder Woman into granting her access to the Knife. Barbara stabs herself with it, gaining a new Cheetah-like appearance and some superpowers. For a movie version, you€™d need an actress who can appear feral and frightening, but with a charming side too (Barbara needs to gain Wonder Woman€™s trust at some stage). Kaya Scodelario of Skins and The Maze Runner franchise could be perfect fit, on both counts. She€™s seven years younger that Gadot, too, which could make for an interesting dynamic between the pair.
