10 Unused Villains For DC Movies (And Who Should Play Them)

5. Bizarro (Woody Harrelson)

Bizarro is Superman€™s most bat-sh*t doolally enemy, and could make for an entirely original movie villain if Warner Bros have the guts to introduce him. There€™s been several different version of Bizarro in the comics, but the basic origin story remains the same €“ they€™re all attempted clones of Superman that turn out evil. Many of them are created by Lex Luthor. As a dark inversion of Superman €“ with the added abilities of arctic vision and flame breath €“ Bizarro is a frightening prospect. Interestingly, though, he€™s often used a comedic character. His mangled brain makes him talk like an idiot and he€™s regularly drawn with a big stupid grin on his face. This blend of comedy and terror could serve to lighten up the DC movie universe, injecting a few laughs to contrast with the dark and gritty aesthetic. To pull this off, you€™d need an actor who can intimidate audience members as easily as he makes them laugh. Woody Harrelson is an obvious choice, with his dumb-yet-scary character from Zombieland showcasing his unique abilities in blending a low IQ with a high gag rate. With the help of a little CGI, he could make a brilliant big screen Bizarro. And The Hunger Games proved that Harrelson isn€™t scared of signing a big multi-film contract. Get him involved, Warner Bros!
