10 Unused Villains For DC Movies (And Who Should Play Them)

3. Hush (Matt Damon)

Hush €“ real name Thomas Elliot - is one of the most interesting Batman villains that the comics have ever produced. He was one of Bruce Wayne€™s select few childhood friends - the pair enjoyed playing games of strategy together, which Tom always won. But Thomas was incredibly troubled, and tried to kill his abusive parents at the age of ten. When Bruce Wayne€™s dad saved his mum, though, the young Thomas developed a grudge towards the Wayne family. Later in life, he found out Bruce€™s secret double life as Batman and plotted vengeance. His first plan €“ now using the criminal identity Hush - was to unite members of Batman€™s rogue€™s gallery and set them all on Bruce. In a later scheme, Thomas got plastic surgery to look like Bruce. His plan was to kill him, steal his identity and destroy the Wayne empire from within. There is, certainly, a great movie to be found in an adaptation of the Hush arc. One actor who we know could go toe-to-toe with Ben Affleck is Matt Damon, his frequent collaborator and close friend. The chemistry between the pair could really be an asset to a Hush movie (not to mention a big marketing aid), and we know for sure that Damon could handle any action requirements.
