5. Seventh Son (Jan 17, 2014)
Budget: Unknown
Predicted Box Office: $50 million
Why It's Going To Bomb: It doesn't matter what the eventual announced budget of Seventh Son is, because even if it costs only $40 or $50 million, it's still probably going to be a box office bomb. Though based on the first installment in Joseph Delaney's children's dark fantasy novel series The Wardstone Chronicles, Ben Barnes isn't a particularly savvy casting choice as the protagonist, given that the last notable project he was in was Narnia, which will have been over three years prior by the time this film releases. Furthermore, though it features name talent like Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore, neither is really a draw for the teen market, the former case of which can be attested by the bombing last week of R.I.P.D. (that and the fact that it looked God-awful).
