The film wouldn't have made it onto this list if its release date hadn't been pushed back from Christmas Day, 2014. Ironically, the film was moved to avoid competing with The Interview, and we all know how that ended up. Hot Tub Time Machine 2, a sequel (duh) to the 2010 original, sees Craig Robinson, Clark Duke and Rob Corddry inadvertently sent to the future instead of the past. John Cusack has neglected to return and Parks and Recreation's Adam Scott has taken his place. If you've seen the first Hot Tub Time Machine, you pretty much known what to expect. Most of the pleasure from that film came from the ensemble of leads riffing off of each other and, if the trailers anything to go by, 2 will be more of the same. A lot of the online reaction to the sequel news was of the 'really? I don't think we need another one' variety but fans should lighten up a little. The first one was funny and this one should be too, as long as it doesn't suffer from comedy sequel syndrome like Horrible Bosses 2, Anchorman 2 and all of the Hangover sequels. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWa4INxk4y4
